WWII US Army M1 Helmet Steel Pot Swivel Bale Front Seam Seaman Paper

Original WWII Era US M1 "Steel Pot" Helmet - Front Seam/Swivel Bale with Complete Seaman Paper Company Liner w/Sewn Chin Straps - RARE - Very Nice Condition Up for sale is an Original WWII Era US Army M1 "Steel Pot" Helmet.  This is the later pot with the Front Seam and Swivel Bales.  It has the Original Sewn-in chin straps.  Some fray spots on one of the chin straps, see photos.  The helmet is OD Green Color and the original cork finish.  Excellent Cork Finish.  It appears to still have the original paint.  Minor wear on the paint, mainly around the rim.  There are NO major dents in the pot.  It has a heat treatment stamping inside the shell, it is worn, but looks like "241A" and "S" for Schlueter.  There are some names written inside the pot, see photo. It has a Seaman Paper Company Liner.  There is a Seaman Paper Co. logo (S in an oval) in the liner.  The liner appears to still have the original paint.  It is complete with the original HBT webbing.  The sweat band with HBT webbing is in very nice condition, see photos for markings.  The nape strap is HBT webbing, see photos for manufacturer marking on the nape strap.  Some tearing on the suspension.  The leather chin strap original, brown in color.  Leather is soft and pliable.  Some minor cracking in the leather. This is a Very Nice Condition Vintage all Original WWII Era M1 Steel Pot with that "BEEN THERE" look that so many collector desire.
