WWII German M42 Helmet Model Z Restoration

During WWII many countries, in developing their own military helmets, copied the German models that were already in use.  Spain modeled  the M42 and it would become known as the Model Z.  This Helmet is a restored original model Z. The shell was completely  refinished and made to reflect the German North Africa Corps.  The liner and chin strap were added as can be seen in the photos.  It has been in my collection for more than 20 years as an excellent example of military helmets of that period.
