WW2 US Army M1 Helmet Leather Chinstrap Black Buckle Excellent

This is a WW2 Style Black Buckle LEATHER CHINSTRAP IN NEW OLD STOCK CONDITION. This is the fruit of incessant hunting and I'm n ot gonna lie, these are pretty cool to look at. Stunning new old stock, supple, flexible, no cracking, no corrosion, no damage. Beautiful. These hearken back to the old days of surplus. Days when gear was crisp and had that familiar pungent smell. To that extent, I have acquired a small supply of these and as they say, there is opportunity in everything, this is your opportunity to complete your helmet. Near impossible to upgrade and cheaper than many alternatives. Why buy a reproduction for $30 when you can have these? These were produced in the late 50s for the last runs of US M1 helmets that had leather chinstraps. They are identical in construction and style to the late WW2 ones.
