WW2 British Brodie Helmet early war 1940 & Anti Gas Units markings -

Early war  British Brodie  Helmet for anti gas/chemical units,  with liner & chinstrap and (celluloid?) pliable protection skirt - R.O & Co. 1940 factory indentation. (see pic 8) Original and rare. You can tell that this British Brodie type helmet  is  of early war manufacture by the markings and also the coarse brownish outside paint . In the early days of WW2 the British were preparing for a war they thought was going to be similar to WW1 with long stalemate in trenches and gas and chemical attacks, therefore these anti gas/chemical units of the early war . Nothing has been touched on this 80+ years old helmet. It is in its original condition as I acquired it in the 90's. Everything is in museum quality condition. A must for helmet collectors.
