Vtg WWII Era Westinghouse M1 Military Helmet Liner Only CBRN Chem Corp

HERE WE HAVE : A vintage M1 helmet liner! I am not an expert on these, so please read the full description and ask any questions! Or if I'm way off in my info, please let me know! The liner looks to be Westinghouse branded. It has a decal on each side for what I believe is the insignia for the US Army Chemical Warfare School or CBRN school unit? The decal features a dragon and reads "Elementis Regamis Proelium", which is a slogan from the Chemical Corps. " The device was originally approved for the Chemical Warfare School on 1 May 1934. It was redesignated for the Chemical Corps School on 27 May 1953. The insignia was amended to substitute the word "device" for "coat of arms" on 18 Jun 1953. On 13 Aug 1976 the device was cancelled. The device was reinstated and redesignated for the U.S. Army Chemical School on 22 Feb 1980." - this is an excerpt I copied and pasted here after seeing it on a few different websites with history on the dragon insignia. Listing is for the liner pictured only, I don't have the actual helmet shell for it. *8/2/23* CONDITION: Acceptable condition. There are scuffs, scratches, stains and color loss spots throughout. There's a possible crack on the front-right side of the liner.. I can feel it with my fingernail but the two sides of the split don't seem to move so it may not go all the way through (this is shown next to my thumb in the last photo!). Some little nicks/roughness to the outside edge of the liner. The straps inside have staining, loose threads and some faded writing on them. The leather straps have splitting and color loss. Dragon decals have color loss. Will come as shown, so please see photos! SHIPPING: Calculated.
