Vintage Medieval Knight Roman Gallic Centurian Helmet w/ Red Plume & Head Liner.
Awesome Roman Centurion Helmet. I am not sure if it's an Imperial or Gallic design. It seems to be an authentic replica made with steel and brass . It also includes a red plume that feels like horse hair. Additionally, there is a removable leather cap that fits the inside for protection.
It would make an excellent display piece or it can be used for Live Action Role Playing, theater plays, or a part to a roman inspired Halloween costume. I don't know the manufacturer of this helmet, but it seems to be an older reproduction when examining the protective head gear. The helmet is in good condition with minor wear.
Unfortunately, the brass plume holder isn't included. I looked online to see if they are easy to replace. Luckily, they are found on multiple sites costing anywhere between $10-18. The metal visor thing on the front is engraved with the numbers 011. I'm not sure what it means, but it could be a clue to identify the model type or manufacturer with additional research. This is an interesting and artistic item that will certainly make a great addition to your collection or role playing experience.
