Vintage 80s 90s US Army USGI Woodland Camo Cover PASGT Helmet LARGE

This Vintage 80s 90s US Army USGI Woodland Camo Cover PASGT Helmet is in good, clean condition overall and only shows minimal signs of age, service and storage. The helmet is clearly marked with a DLA contract stamp and production appears to have been carried out by Gibraltar Industries in 1983. 1983 was the first year the PASGT uniform components were issued, making this a very early example of a truly iconic piece of headgear. Size is Large. The exterior green finish is clean and no obvious signs of damage from abuse, neglect or service can be detected. The interior is also clean and all suspension and associated hardware and components are in equally, good, clean condition. Of note, the top of the interior crown is stamped "L" as well as with the GENTEX brand logo. The only "blemish" that can be found is what appears to be a small area of glue or possibly wax near the right-side chinstrap attachment. There is no obvious damage underneath the aforementioned area and it does not appear to be a repair. The Woodland Camouflage helmet cover is in good, clean condition and is SPO contract stamped from 1996. No rips, tears or holes can be found and the color pattern is still strong and vibrant. The elastic helmet band is also in very good condition and the glowing "Cat Eyes" still present.
