Vietnam War Chaplains M1 Helmet Liner Mitchell Camo Cover & Cross US

Vietnam War Chaplain’s M1 Helmet, Liner, Cover and Cross Items are in good vintage shape. Was told a chaplain wore this during Vietnam. This has not been taken completely apart since the war, so I’m going to leave it as close to together as I can, I have never been able to put one of these (with cover) back together as it was found. (The chin strap is really tight to the rim, too.) I took apart enough to see if there was a WWII decal on front, there isn’t. Steel pot does look good from what I uncovered. Has name inside (I’m going to avoid photographing it). Also has decal inside that I haven’t been able to ID (see pics). Has small metal cross on front, I assume is glued on. It had been a silver color, but was painted black to avoid reflection, but you can see where the black has rubbed off. The liner has a black cross painted on it. Has Mitchell camo cover. I wear an XL hat and this fits me just right. Very cool helmet for a museum collection. Have more old WWII M1 helmets for sale and maybe a PASGT if it hasn’t sold.
