This Buy it Now auction is for a Vietnam War era U.S. Military M-1 Helmet Liner. This Helmet Liner has faded printed Quartermaster information on the interior straps. There is a Quartermaster Depot sticker with a 1974 date marking. The sweat band part has is 1980s era. I do not have the nape strap part. I do not have the missing parts. I do not have any steel pot outer shell to make it a whole helmet. All I have is the Helmet Liner. There is a lot of rip damage, oxidation rust, and dried out old cracked leather, etc. This item is old and in Used Condition with wear damage from use. This item has sun fading, scratches, dents, paint loss, splits, cracks, rips, oxidation to the metal parts, missing parts, etc. It is no longer in the perfect condition that it once was in the day it was originally manufactured. It is both damaged from having been used, and damaged from being old. Time slowly destroys old things. It will be mailed in a Large size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. All that is for sale here is the helmet, the head the hat is modeled on is not included for sale.
