AN ORIGINAL US ARMY ARTILLERY REGULATION DRESS HELMET PLATE FOR THE 1881 DRESS HELMET . INCLUDED ALSO ARE ORIGINAL SIDE BUTTONS FOR ARTILLERY WITH CROSSED CANNONS. THIS HELMET PLATE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH LIGHT PATINA. IT IS CURVED TO CONFORM TO THE SHAPE OF THE HELMET. THE WIRE LOOPS ON THE BACK ARE PRESENT AND SLIGHTLY BENT. THE LEAD SOLDERS HAVE THE APPROPRIATE PATINA FOR THEIR AGE. WELL PRESERVED HELMET PLATE, GUARANTEED TO BE ORIGINAL. PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES PROVIDED TO EVALUATE THIS PLATE.
