Tankers Helmet Cap - Russian WW2

WW2 Era Tankers cloth helmet or cap.   Used to protect the head from bouncing around inside the tank.   Cloth is rough material.   Not a lot of quality, and appears quickly assembled.   Seems like it is filled with scrap cloth.   Buckles are like a pressed material, and most have disappeared with age.   Appears little or no usage.   No markings.
We have not seen one of these in any specific books or museums.    Believed to be late war Russian, but there are no markings anywhere.   Materials and craftmanship appear Russian.    Could be from another country.   If you have any specific verifiable information, it would be appreciated.
