Stilo ST5 GT Carbon Helmet - SA2020

The Stilo ST5 GT Carbon Helmet is both Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859 certified, and is ready for integrated electronics, air supply, hydration or any combination of the three.  All of these options integrate seamlessly with the new ST5.  The redesigned shell optimizes airflow, visibility and weight.
With the new Puro Super Smooth technology unique to Stilo, the SA2020 ST5 Carbon FIA8859 helmets are 50/60g lighter than former models. This superior finish removes the need for lacquer, and also saves weight. The benefit to helmet painters is that the decal is no longer under the clear coat. The ST5 GT Carbon Helmet now also comes with a decal like the Stilo Zero’s and 8860’s.
For driver convenience, the integrated electronics jack is positioned far enough away from the HANS post anchor making use of the jack trouble free even when wearing a HANS device.  The wiring is positioned behind the helmet padding so as to be transparent to the user.
EPS cheek pads provide the best in lateral crash safety, while retaining the functionality of the optional earmuffs to provide a comfortable aural environment for communication with your crew.  The pressure upon the head can be adjusted by replacing the special foam rubber pads placed between the earmuff and the helmet.

HANS users must purchase HANS/Stilo posts from Simpson to use with their HANS – standard HANS posts will not fit the integrated anchor.
Size Chart
Stilo has two separate shell sizes for this helmet. This results in a helmet that fits better and is lighter weight.  Instead of filling a very large shell with lots of padding for smaller sizes, Stilo helmets have one shell size for XS to Medium helmets, and a different shell size for Large through XL helmets. The Snell SA2020 testing requirements have changed a small amount from the older Snell versions and have now become more in line with the FIA 8859 Helmet Standard. Details:

Increased velocity by 5-10% for impact testing on the 2nd hit across all shell sizes.

Increased velocity from 5.7 to 6.0 m/s on the 54cm to 59cm size.

Increased peak G threshold on the 54cm to 59cm size and 60cm-64cm size.
