This is a vintage spice pomander by Andre Richard. Still has the original red foil sticker on the bottom: "RICHARD JAPAN". It looks to be a red crested Roman Galea (helmet), worn by a legionary. Lovely hand-painted ceramic piece. The artist painted in a rustic golden style. The beautiful furry red crest really makes this piece stand out. Condition is listed as "Used". This does not seem to have been used. It is empty, and I don't smell anything. I have never used it. It has been kept in my china cabinet as decor. Item stands approximately 4 inches tall, 4 inches across the side of the helmet, and 3 inches across the face. Please use photos as part of the description. Shipped with USPS First Class Mail.
