Rare Late 1930s 10Kt Gold WWI Soldier Hat Brodie Helmet "Salad Bowl" Pendant Charm ! Marked 10Kt center of the strap (8th image), with an early Carl Art Inc makers mark, CA with an arrow passing through the letters. Weighs approximately 1.5 grams. Approximate length of helmet is 1.6 cm (10.5/16 of an inch), and approximately 1.35 cm (8.5/16 of an inch) in width. The helmet was worn starting the First World War by the British soldiers, and was nicknamed Salatschüssel (salad bowl) by the Germans, because the design was poor, not very beneficial against artillery and explosions. Our Lord Jesus Christ neVer Asked us to join the Romans, but to maintain a safe distance, to give Caesars what is Caesars, NOT to join Caesar. For Caesar was the Hitler of his age, for the Roman Empire had genocidal policies. I have seen several similar helmets but in silver, this is the second only gold one I have yet encountered, and being in such good condition makes it a very rare find indeed. This miniature gold helmet would make a cool Monopoly game piece, no? Please feel free to check out my other Museum Quality Collection !
