For sale is an USN U.S. Navy Jet Pilot APH-5 Type Flight Helmet large in size. This is a great vintage original and complete APH-5 flight helmet -made by Sierra Eng. Co. Headphone cups, rubber padding, speakers, and outer retention disks are all in fair visual shape. Chrome oxygen mask receivers are very nice and clean. Chin strap and neck straps are in original shape, see pics. FUN TRIVIA: This is that these style of U.S. Navy helmets were chosen and modified for use in the 1977 George Lucas film "Star Wars" as the X-Wing fighter pilot helmets.
