Original WWII Japanese Civil Defense Helmet w/ Naval Landing Force NLF

Up for purchase is a WWII-era Japanese Civil Defense helmet. This style of helmet has a wider profile than the Type 90 combat helmet, and would have been worn by civilian contractors on the various occupied islands, as well as civil defense groups on the mainland. The helmet is in nice shape, with good original paint on the exterior, and a complete original liner with chinstrap. The exterior of the shell does have some surface rust and paint wear, as the photos show. There is what appears to be a rust stain as well as paper residue on the interior. This particular helmet has a Japanese Special Naval Landing Force (NLF) anchor affixed to the front. The prongs are rounded, as the photos show. The device looks like it has been attached for a while. I am not sure if the NLF anchor is original or not. I am selling this as nothing more than a nice example of a Civil Defense helmet that will display nicely. There are certain countries that I will not ship to, no matter the circumstance. If you live in one of those countries, I am still willing to sell to you as long as you have a shipping address within the United States. I will ship to only the address that is on the Pricetronic system. It is the responsibility of the buyer to keep an updated address in the Pricetronic system, and to know their state or country's laws regarding the importation of goods. Payment is due within four (4) days of the listings end. If there is a problem preventing you from making payment, please let me know. I am more than willing to work with you. If no payment is made within four days, and no contact is made with me, I will contact Pricetronic, cancel the order, and relist the item. Return claims are handled on a case by case basis. While I do indicate 30 day returns, I only accept returns if the item is misdescribed by me. If that is the case, I will pay for return shipping and issue a refund. Returns for "buyers remorse" will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Orders will be shipped as quickly as possible, anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 days after payment. Sometimes things happen and the handling time might be longer. With the job that I work, sometimes I get extremely busy during the week, and am unable to pack items until the weekend. Rest assured, your item will be shipped to you as quickly as possible. Once it is shipped, a tracking number will be automatically uploaded into the Pricetronic system.
