This Buy it Now auction is for a Second World War era British Military "Turtle Shell" Helmet. This type of combat helmet was used latter in the war by Allied soldiers of the British Empire. There is a 6 1/2 size marking on the inside of the helmet. I show a photo from a reference book that has information about this type of WW2 era British Combat Helmet. The reference book is not included for sale. Only the old relic WW2 era helmet is offered for sale. This item is old and in Used Condition with wear damage from use. This item has sun fading, scratches, dents, paint loss, oxidation to the metal parts, rip damage, etc. The interior parts of the helmet are old and fragile, and will fall apart really easily. This is an old damaged relic collectable. It is no longer in the perfect condition that it once was in the day it was originally manufactured. It is both damaged from having been used, and damaged from being old. Time slowly destroys old things. It will be mailed in a Large size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. All that is for sale here is the helmet, the head the helmet is modeled on is not included for sale.
