This Level IIIA ballistic helmet weighs in at 3.11 pounds. It has a high cut FAST style with room for communication gears. The rail system allows the addition of accessories such as cameras, night vision equipment, flashlight, etc. The helmet is made from Aramid (Kevlar) and is designed to stop .357 Sig and .44 Magnum.
These helmets have been independently tested by H.P. White Laboratory, Inc. according to current standards with 4 rounds of .357 and had zero penetrations. Please see images for test results.
The inside of the helmet consists of foam pads making the helmet comfortable to wear and reduces blunt trauma. The pads are easily adjustable and attached with Velcro. Features:Level IIIA ballistic rating Weight: ~3.11
