M76 Orlite Sherwood tagged IDF Israeli helmet CIA. M76 Orlite Sherwood International tagged Israeli Helmet. Sherwood international export was a CIA front company and supplied military gear to the Contras in Central America in the seventies and beyond. These black exterior Orlite helmets are well known to have been supplied by Sherwood International. These early models are very hard to find. Liner shows use and is missing a couple of rubber pieces. Chin strap has been field modified from It's original configuration. The black exterior has numbers on the back of the helmet which I have no idea what they mean and the front has NCO stripes.
