M1C McCord US Steel Helmet Vietnam Vtg Rear Seam Swivel Bale With Green

Here is a vintage M1C McCord US M1C steel helmet. This example has a rear seam and swivel bale chinstrap.  Vietnam era vintage (heat stamp M339 C1) from the contract awarded to McCord on April 30, 1965. The liner, I believe is a later version. There is no chinstrap on the liner and the buckles for the chinstrap appear to be for a later version. Also, there is no hole in the front above the front rivet. I've done some research, but I'm not an expert. Used condition, as found. I didn't see any markings on the helmet itself. The sweatband has some writing that I can't make out. The liner has a "91" on the inside rear. Uncertain if that is the year of the liner. Buyer is responsible for postage. Please check the shipping options under the shipping tab.
