* Does not include flight suit HELMET INFO Finished and ready to wear. These incredible helmets are available again after almost 6 years hiatus. The mastery of the Laws sculpts rendered from castings of an actual stormtrooper faceplate and APH-6B pilot helmet are the pinnacle of prop replica offerings for many collectors. Arguably one of the most authentic and accurate replica Tie Pilot Helmets available in the USA, the LAWS II captures the amazing detail from the original screen used helmets resulting in an absolutely stunning collectible. Each helmet is handmade in the same way the masters were, not mass-produced. All assembled helmets come with a certificate of authenticity. LAWS fully built, commissioned helmets, have also been approved by the 501st legion. Only the highest grade virgin black .060 inch ABS plastic is used for the thermoforming process on our industrial forming machine. The helmets are trimmed out to exacting standards then assembled using the same brass fasteners as the props department used in 1976. Each HERO or BACKGROUND helmet is finished with hand painted details just like those found in “Star Wars, A New Hope”. The “Imperial Cog” decals are re-created exact matches to a TIE PILOT helmet that was on display at Comic-Con 2015 (Propstore) and printed to replicate the original process. The bubble lenses are the correct shade, thickness and shape as the screen used props. Metal machined reproduction “JA Mitchell turntable pulley” disks have been attached to each of the ears. An exact casting of the correct stylus box has been painted and affixed to the mohawk rear. All rubber trim is exactly the same as used in the “A New Hope” movie production and imported from the UK. Helmet will include 1 inch thick star foam liner (pattern from original helmet) and elastic chin straps with snaps. ALL THIS comes to YOU in a fleece lined helmet bag with zipper and carrying straps, safely protected. TIE PILOT ARMOR WITH CHEST BOX INFO Finished and ready to wear. The armor was a adapted by Laws from the chest and back molds that are cast from screen used stormtrooper armor. This is most likely the same process used by production prop designers of the day during filming of Star Wars. The chest armor is shorter than the Stormtrooper, with a straight return edge along the bottom as was seen on screen. The back is flat and raised with the stormtrooper O II filled in. The shoulder straps are recreated to match the originals with the octagon detailing. The Chest Box is supplied with accurate breather hoses, along with all the recreated greeblies as seen in the movies. These include laser cut acrylic colored tiles, machined metal parts, 3 resin rocker switches and two panel display indicators. The box is finished with silver and white striping detailing.
