Offered is an ID’d early Cairns high eagle helmet from Hydraulion Steam Fire Engine Company of Alexandria Virginia. The helmet belongs to M. J. Waterman. He was the recording secratary for the steam engine in 1876. Please see attached news clippings. The last two photos are for reference and not included.
