Steel helmet styled after the prop used in the 2000 film Gladiator by Ridley Scott. It's unbranded and is not an exacting replica. Unsure of exact maker / gauge of steel. Feels hefty and solid. I put it up as a "Roman" helmet but it's definitely more of a fantasy design. The front visor is riveted in such a way that it looks like it should be able to lift up but it can't move much. No liner or chin strap. Head spikes are a kind of brassy color. Interior dimensions of the helmet are approximately 8" side to side and 9" front to back. My head is 24.5" circumference and it fits without a liner, but I doubt I could wear it with anything more than a thin beanie. Small spot of rust on the nose / brow line, I'd suggest hitting it with steel wool to remove the rust and using something like a gun oil to keep the surface free of future rust. Feeling adventurous? Pop those two rivets on the visor and you suddenly have an MF Doom mask!
