FRENCH MODEL 1870 ORIGINAL PERIOD,CUIRASSIERS HELMET,LINER

This 1870 model French CUIRASSIERS HELMET ,is original period , with rare original liner. The helmet is brass rolled edges, and a beautiful Medusa head at het front .The long oruiginal horse hair ordmentation is mostly intact and some even braided.This is one of the most ornate helmets you will see.One of the chin straps is a particial ,and the plume holder is missing. The two items can be found and replaced easily.The liner is almost never found in these helmet and this on e is complete. Some of the helmet needs polishing.
