The two speakers and boom microphone attach firmly to the inside or outside of the helmet with adhesive velcro, which allows them to be easily removed and inserted. The noise canceling boom microphone is covered with foam to further reduce wind and outside noise. A convenient in-line quick disconnect allows the headset to be disconnected from the push to talk button so the rider can dismount  without removing the headset from the helmet.
