Early WWII USCG U.S. Coast Guard M1 Helmet + liner FIXED Bale Front Seam

I have other military and WWII stuff listed.  I will combine shipping. Here is a very tough helmet to find.  The LAST pic shows the leather chin strap for the liner.  It was in the bottom of the bag and I didn't see it until after I took the other pics.  This is a WWII, fixed bale, front seam, USGC "58" M1 helmet with liner.  The chin straps are the early brass.  The liner, or at least the sweatband, is 1970s era.   The Westinghouse liner is WWII issue and nicely marked.   The helmet is marked "58C" and the liner is marked "W" in a circle and the number "14" below that.   The "58C" is a very early marking from what I've read.  I don't know if the "58" on the back of the helmet is the size or what it represents.  This is a great piece and tough to find.  Please see pics for more details. ******SOME STATES ARE NOW CHARGING SALES TAX ON PURCHASES.  I THINK IT'S BS AND WRONG, BUT EBAY DOES IT AUTOMATICALLY.  I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT.   VOTE TO CHANGE THINGS! *****BE SURE TO CHECK THE SHIPPING TAB!  THE SHIPPING SHOWN MAY NOT BE THE CHEAPEST.  I USUALLY HAVE DIFFERENT CHOICES.
