NO HELMET INCLUDED! You'll receive everything pictured minus the helmet to convert your CVC Helmet to a SOHAH.
Will work with Small/Medium and Large CVC Helmets
No instructions are included for whatever reason but I can help you should you have any questions during your build.
Basically you'll just need a good drill and a couple screwdrivers.
Remove all the nuts and bolts from your Helmet. Mark the NVG mount hole locations using the mount as a template. Your helmet should have a tick mark indicating center. If not you'll need a good eye ball!
Mark the Rails rear hole locations using the pre-existing TOP mounting hole on the front of the helmet for the front of the rail. Align the rails with the contour of the helmet and mark the rear hole locations.
Drill out all 4 of the pre-existing holes on the helmet with the larger drill bit. Drill out the rear rail holes with the larger bit.
Drill out the 3 holes for the NVG mount using the smaller bit.
Paint helmet if desired. At a minimum you should spray paint all the drilled holes to seal the fibers to prevent water damage to the helmet.
Attach Hook and Loop disks to the inside of the helmet. Be sure the helmet is clean!
Attach NVG mount, front and rear Hook and Loop. You can remove the button on the back of the helmet with a pair of plyers by ripping it off the helmet. You can push the rest of the button through the helmet to the inside leaving a factory hole. After rear Hook and Loop is attached, attach the included hardware in the button hole.
Attach Rails & Chinstrap starting with the rear holes first. The front of the Chinstrap is attached to the bottom 2 front holes. Place the bungees with metal O-rings attached under the front of the rails. Attach the front of the rails to the helmet.
Attach side Hook and Loop, attach 2 top center Hook and Loop.
Install pads in the helmet making sure to cover all nuts and bolts.
