CUSTOM EMBELLISHED PINK LEATHER HORNED JEWELED MOTORCYCLE HALF

CUSTOM EMBELLISHED PINK & BLACK LEATHER,  BLACK RABBIT FUR, FAUX JEWELED MOTORCYCLE HALF HELMET DOT SIZE M.  Circumference measures 23 1/2 inches. Up for auction is a half motorcycle helmet custom decorated by a leather craftswoman around 2006. I bought this helmet at a local motorcycle shop here in Arizona & brought it to a vendor at the Renaissance Fair to dress it up for special occasions. I only wore this helmet a handful of times; during the rides my all female “gang” hosted to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. The helmet is very heavy; it weighs just short of 3 1/2 pounds & when traveling over 20 mph the wind pushes the helmet back causing the chin strap to press against one’s neck. But, it’s not bad for short rides, wearing while riding in a parade, or to accent a woman warrior costume. The helmet is covered in a soft pink leather. The pink leather contains imperfections as evident in Picture 10 & has faded a bit from the intense Arizona sun as evident in the picture of the top of the helmet &/the flaps in Picture 9. The helmet has a black strip of leather measuring about 1 1/4 inch wide running down the center, front to back. The leather strip contains 10 pink colored faux “jewels” that appear to be plastic set in a silver colored setting. The bottom of the helmet is trimmed in black rabbit fur measuring almost 3 inches wide. Black rabbit fur also encircles the approximately 7 inch long authentic horns. The horns may have been painted but I’m not sure. The nicest feature on this helmet is the removable back & side flaps. The flaps snap into the inside of the helmet to allow the wearer to present a more dramatic look with the flaps attached or a simpler look without the flaps. The flaps measure about 5 1/2 inches wide & are 7 1/2 inches long from bottom of helmet to center point of flap.Each flap contains 5 of the faux “jewels”. The helmet’s chin strap closes with double “D” silver colored metal rings. The inside of the helmet contains the manufacturer’s label stating the Model Number, T-69, the Size, the date manufactured, NOV 2006, the name of the manufacturer, TONG HO SHING INDUSTRIAL CO., INC. & MADE IN TAIWAN. This gently used pink & black decorative helmet is sold as is & is not returnable.
