This listing is for my 8th edition Black Series Kylo Ren helmet upgraded with a new finish to make the helmet one solid piece, that has a thick ballistic rubber finish, as well as a totally upgraded system of electronics.
The process is thorough. The helmet is first completely dissassembled, and all excess parts are removed. The helmet is made of 3 main pieces, which I seamlessly attach using extra strong epoxy to form a single piece helmet. The exterior is then sanded and molded to remove any seams. I then add 4 layers of black ballistic rubber coating to give it more weight and thickness. The visor is then finished with screen accurate mesh replacing the tinted plastic visor. Inside I add a ratcheting hard-hat suspension which, in conjunction with a custom padding system, makes the helmet comfortable and stable. Simply twist a knob and the ratcheting strap snugs the helmet to your head.
Next come the electronics. I install a top of the line voice changer system, an amplifier, a microphone, a lithium power supply, a main power switch, a recharge port, and an upgraded 30 watt full range speaker replacing the 1 watt speaker. All the electronics are built into the helmet.
The electronics are simple. There is one main power switch and one recharge port for all the electronics. You may need to practice a bit to get good at doing the voice. But the voice changer has 8 settings, two of which are good for sounding like Kylo. The other 6 are just fun for messing around with. There is also a USB recharge option, but that is more of an emergency use charging solution, because it charges much slower than the main recharge port. A charging adapter is also included.
This listing is for a helmet similar to the one pictured above. Those pictures are of the V4 helmet. It may take up to two weeks to finish yours, but I will certainly try my best to finish it quickly.
