BikerNeck ® A simple yet effective detachable, Motorcycle Crash Helmet mounted, wind and rain blocking bib. This Velcro detachable windproof/waterproof bib, made from waterproof softshell fabric, is attached to the bottom front of a motorcyclists crash helmet primarily to reduce draughts to a riders neck & face & to help keep the neck drier in wet weather too for a more comfortable ride. It can also be attached to the base of a straight bottomed visor on an open face helmet too.
Especially in the colder months, motorcyclists suffer from a cold neck, runny nose, frozen face & tired eyes from wind swirling around inside their crash helmet whilst riding.
Also, when its raining, the front of your neck eventually gets soaked & then that cold water seeps down inside your jacket making riding even colder & more miserable ! This item helps address both these issues. A sticky-backed soft black Velcro loop strip (supplied) is attached centrally to the lower front face of your full or flip-up crash helmet. A Velcro hook backing strip is on the reverse of the bib to attach the bib to your crash helmet in order to help keep the elements away from your neck & face (the soft loop Velcro attachment strip can be trimmed down to size from 29cm if needbe to fit the opening width part of a flip-up visor helmet or around a flip opening catch too if that's what you have or onto an open faced helmets visor if it has a straight edge bottomed style visor). The bib can be folded upwards out of the way when not required so also allows a clear line of sight whilst your flip-helmet is raised & can be easily detached any time due to its Velcro fastening when not required at all. The bib fits the majority of crash helmets where a 25mm high soft loop Velcro strip can be stuck towards its lower front face so before ordering please check your helmet is suitable to stick this size strip to it.
