Up for sale is an Airsoft Helmet of unknown brand but I believe Emerson is close or they're both made by the same manufacturer. This helmet has been modified from its original condition in order to be better suited for real event training and tactical shooting. There has been cosmetic work to fit the theme of former Afghan National Army. I tried to replicate the Hyperstealth Spec4ce Camo designed by Guy Cramer using a stencil kit from Acid Tactical. As it's an incredibly complicated pattern, I was only able to really get the idea of the pattern but I think it pairs decently well with the fabric I own. Stencil-work is a pretty hard thing to deal with and I tried my best to weather the pattern but as with anything homemade/custom there are minor cosmetic imperfections that I don't think detract from the theme. The chinstrap was taken from another helmet and reworked in order to fit a larger head 23" diameter and up. I wear a 7 5/8 fitted cap and a 7 3/4 loose cap and it's plenty roomy especially with aftermarket padding. I added these things pads after changing the interior hook shapes for custom coin vel cro, and there's plenty of it inside for adjustment. The nape was modified to better flex to the head. The adjustment strap was removed and material was spliced into the rear tails in to allow the nape to sit at the optimal height and give flexibility in adjustment. The rails were originally the thin type and replaced with thick and heavy DLP tactical versions. Bungee retention lanyards were also replaced with higher quality thicker cordage. The shroud is plastic but is within spec and is of decent quality as is. They're not as fragile as one would think but I understand people's reservations about that and I need to clarify that that part is not metal. I painted these parts a dark brown like a lot of ANA gear tended to be produced in. The paint ended up coming on a bit thick and has a mud-like sheen to it. The vel cro kit is from another helmet and is much higher quality than the original and is an OD green I feel compliments the camouflage pattern. The vel cro kit was also modified in order to be more relevant to current helmet setups so it has a mohawk strip that's able to accept helmet bridges/strobes/ID patches etc. along with the normal morale patches and flags. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I cannot provide safety guarantees to the
helmet though I am personally confident in the abilities of this helmet. USA
