1940s Michigan Leather Football Helmet Harmon

LG Full size to Wear- Yellow Wing and straps. Blue Undercarriage. Like Old Michigan ,Old Delaware , style. Originated by Princeton and Spaulding in the 1934 season. Adopted style by many early teams in the middle 30s Old Centennial , Old Boston , Old Maine. Old Tennessee but all using different color schemes. Made famous by Michigan in 1940 as they adopted this style and color scheme and to their great credit stayed with it all these years. Delaware also has this same color scheme today as several other schools. This blue undercarriage with yellow wing and three yellow straps going to the back can be altered to match . ie Old Princeton Orange and Black or any old school. earliest versions of this were natural leather in color.
